Avis Hôtel Wyndham Midtown Atlanta****

01/07/2010 Een iewat gedateerd hotel 2x 1 nacht geslapen, kamer 1 had last van niet juist uitgevoerd loodgieterswerk, m.a.w. er zat rond het bad wat leiding werk los. (kwestie van schroeven.) Het geheel is schoon en heel. En is voor een overnachting goed te doen. Naast het hotel is de parkeergarage waar u uw auto op de bovenste etage dient te stallen (= de 9de etage, de lift gaat tot 8. houd in dit geval rekening met 2 trappen en uw baggage.) Men verzorgd ook Valet Parking, = ongeveer 5 dollar duurder.
Men beschikt hier ook over een restaurant met een uitstekende Cubaanse/Zuid Amerikaanse keuken. "Mojito restaurant"

31/08/2009 Keurig hotel, klantvriendelijk personeel en schitterende kamers!
Het bed was kingsize en was heerlijk om in te slapen.
's Ochtends was het ontbijt ook uitmuntend! Van vers fruit tot pannekoekjes.

25/06/2009 Although the hotel was clean, we felt that the hotel was little bit old. The service and cleanliness are acceptable. We can use inside pool, spa and fitness center. Hotel staff is very kind. So, I would like to recommend this hotel to others who plan to visit Atlanta. However, I dare to say something. First, the breakfast provided (not free) at the restaurant is so poor. You should go other restaurants near the hotel. And we have to pay $10 for using Internet. Also, parking space is very far. Actually, the parking building is next to the hotel. But the parking spaces for hotel guests are 9th floor of the building. If you want to go out by car after chek in, you have to go to 9th floor of the next building which does not have direct path to the hotel.

25/06/2009 I must say the location is very nice however there were many problems we encountered with the Hotel. First of all they still had a newyears eve dinner menue in the room in March, then the sink broke in the bathroom, the extra pillow in the closet had hair on it, there were cigerett ashed and put out all around the hot tub area. The people there were very friendly but the hotel definetly did not live up to the expectations I had.

25/06/2009 I make frequent business trips to Atlanta, and always stay here; it's an easy walk to the Midtown train station that connects directly to the airport, and easy walking to some of the great restaurants in Midtown. Hotel itself is clean and friendly, if a bit 'worn around the edges'. For the price and convenience, though, I give it my recommendation.

25/06/2009 This hotel is in a great location, just around the corner from the Flying Biscuit and up the block from a MARTA station. But the hotel itself is just average, more on par with a Best Western than what I would have expected from Wyndham. Also, the "airport shuttle" listed is public bus shuttle that you have to pay for, so I would recommend you just take the MARTA instead. The hotel does have a local shuttle for taking you to restaurants, shops, etc., but it was "out of service" the day we needed it. The front desk people were nice when they were there, but the lobby often felt abandoned so don't count on any concierge advice. Overall, this hotel wasn't bad, but I'm glad I only paid $140 on Skoosh and I still think I overpaid for what I got.

25/06/2009 We stayed at the Wyndham with our family over the fourth of July weekend. We had high expectations, but were a little disappointed with the hotel. For a Wyndham, we expected it to be clean and updated. The rooms were somewhat older and unkept. We noticed how dirty the carpet was when our infant's knees turned black after crawling on it. There was also a large layer of dust collecting on the air vent in the shower that we were grossed out by every time we got in it. Half of the electrical outlets were non-functional and only one of the 2 elevators inthe hotel were working. The self-parking was next door on the 9th floor of the parking garage. Unfortunately, the elevator only goes to the 8th floor. Not great for $15 a day. I was too cheap to fork over the $20/day for valet.
