I would recommend the Opera Hotel for its excellent location and its young,, friendly, and helpful staff. The room was quiet and clean. The Belle Epoque aspect and interior design give the building a certain 1930's charm. Breakfast is varied and fresh. (If only the smoking in the foyer were not allowed...Yet the delusionary border between smokers and non-smokers in the same room is still present in many places in Romania, reminding one of the old joke with the inscription on the swimming pool rail."Peeing allowed only in this corner of the pool." Enjoy your stay and try not to miss the Vatra Restaurant close by.
